I drove by slow to snap a shot of this on my camera and almost melted my car and engine in the process. HOT!!

I had wonderful trip back to the Bay Area in Northern California. I recently purchased a used 17-55mm Canon lens for my Canon 70D. I was quite surprised with the quality of still images that this lens and camera setup produced. For not being a full frame (sensor) camera, it still generated some impressive images shooting in RAW. I took a trip out to the Oakland Hills and watched the sunset over the bay with a couple friends as we camped out on the grass. In the distance you can see the whole bay with a slight haze covering the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate. The light provided in this evening was truly heartwarming and stunning. In these images I hope you will feel the profound emotions of the magical love and affection Mother Nature provides us humans beings, and appreciate how beautiful of a world we step foot on everyday.
I was recently approached by the CEO and editor-in-chief, Madeline Milne, of a Canadian Magazine “Mexi-Go” about the use of an image I shot a few years back in the beautiful Oasis of Mulegé in Baja California Sur Mexico. To my surprise, the image was used on the cover of their new winter edition for 2015.

Why this is so special to me is because this Oasis in Mulegé is a hidden wonderland of foliage in the large, vast desert lands of Baja Mexico. If you ever have a chance, visit the city of Mulegé in Baja Mexico. You will find a beautiful city full of wonderful prehistoric beaches and wildlife and people native to their land. Everyone has a smile to share and money is not a factor. You will see innocent children running to and from school with dresses and clothes of rich and elaborate colors that reflect the vibrant culture of the peoples of Baja. By day, you can do anything from hiking the foothills of Mulegé to fishing off the shores of Conception Bay in the Sea of Cortez and swimming alongside dolphins and whalesharks. Or, go rent a kayak and venture out to neighboring playas and islands. And by night, you can roam the city and find a wonderful world of nightlife consisting of spanish culture, food, music, and more. So put down your cell phone, take a couple weeks off, and go off the grid for a bit and live off the land. All you will have to worry about is putting one foot in front of the other…of course that is…in the sand. ☮

I was honored to shoot Kenya’s star track runners last month at Nike’s Campus in Beaverton, Oregon with the team at Quarter Four Media. It was a blast shooting with the team at Nike as well as an inspiration and absolute pleasure to meet and film these talented and warm-hearted athletes.

This a new cut of my cinematography/directing reel. I am blessed to have had an amazing year in 2013 that included several projects and shoots ranging from filming large Nike projects to directing my first TV Commercial that involved wonderful aerial cinematography, and now currently traveling on a TV show as a cinematographer and field producer. 2013 was a truly fantastic year, and 2014 is already showing promise and has been great so far. I wish everyone a wonderful year. Let’s take time to enjoy the simplicities in life, and look out for your fellow man and mother earth. ☮
Hello to all,
I would love to share a recent project with you.
Over the summer at Nike Las Vegas 2013 I was the cinematographer for this Nike Design commercial featuring Lebron James. For this project we shot on the Sony FS700 with Zeiss Prime Lenses. What really made my day was I got to draw half of the artwork on the canvas.
